I am so happy I found your blog! I was getting annoyed with all the snooty wine types out there. I don't think drinking wine means it's necessary to be a pretentious ass.

I started my own blog to learn about wine on my own terms. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one out there who defies the mold!

I can't see myself falling out of love with wine either... there is too much I enjoy about drinking it, sharing it with friends, and making new friends and discoveries.

Wow. This feels a lot like a meeting - "Hi. My name is Jodi a/k/a TampaWineWoman and I love wine." No, you don't understand. I L-O-V-E wine! Obsessive crazy stalker kind of Love!

The road to wine enlightment has not always been glamorous. I have done some things that I am not proud of. There was plenty of 2-4-1 house sutter home cab at Bennigans (don't judge me, you know you've done it too).

Now, though its all different. I work in the wine business, ever since I fell in love with wine at a small boutique wine franchise store. Since then, I can't get enough . . . read everything, taste everything, talk to everyone . . . I even went to Sommelier school. I try to pass on that A-HA moment to as many people as possible. Communicating with someone who also loves wine is like finding a long lost friend.

I hope that I won't wake up one day and have fallen out of love with wine, but right now, I just can't see that happening. I am in love and wine is giving me everything that it promised it would - life is wonderful.

Thank you! It should be fun... it's a chance to reveal more about myself and why I love wine. Hopefully others will be able to relate and it will help break down some walls in the world of wine.
