Great job Randy opening both your mind and your palate (easy when the wine's free, you whore) — and look how you were rewarded for your efforts. I like the challenge of pushing the palate to the extreme. My most recent jumping off experience involved a Marechal Fouche and Pinot Noir blend from Oregon's Ankeny Vineyard. The best description might be: 2 wines for the price of one. The jump, even though not dangerous, may still not be pleasurable, but I that won't stop me either!
