It was a great time but I do have to admit that I missed blogging... isn't it crazy how something that can take up so much time, can also be something you love so much! I guess the same goes for my wife! :P

If only I had a bottle of wine for every steak I've ruined... oh, well, you get the point!

As long as you spent some quality time with those you love, NOTHING else is more important! Cheers to you both... hope your wife is feeling better!

It looks like a good time, if only you had something to drink. :) Just kidding. Looks like a great time. We are glad to have you back.

My wife actually got sick on Valentine's Day, so ours was not too exciting. We celebrated our Valentine's Day last night instead, and I ruined some really nice steaks. :) The shrimp appetizers came out nice though, as did the champagne cake desert and the dinner wine.

Great question! There were two wine tastings on the ship but this one was actually the better of the two. Most of the wines were just okay, but they did crack into the Opus One for the last pour... I was tempted to tell everyone how overrated this wine is, but since I was on vacation, I kept my thoughts to myself and just enjoyed the wine! :)

I used to love Singles Awareness Day! :) As I always say, as long as you are surrounded by good wine and good people, nothing else matters!

Thank you Josh! I'm glad I bring a bit of levity to the wine world... after all, that's what it should be all about... having fun! :)

Great question, Matt! Fortunately, the cruise line allowed two bottles to be brought on board... before I got out there, I made sure to stop at the liquor store and pick up these two beauties. I figured I would have spent much more on wine on the boat, so at least I was able to get some wine that I would really enjoy!

P.S. - I snuck a few more bottles into my luggage (including a bottle of Crown Royale) :)

I've never been on a cruise, but I hear they are full of drinking and food.
